Happy Polling Day!
Well, after what seems on one hand an eternity but on the other literally 5 minutes, 'P-day' has finally arrived and consequently, the last 24 hours have been absolutely crazy! After staying up last night until 3am responding to emails, I was up with the lark (again) this morning, first of all delivering in Perivale, then on to Northolt West End and Northolt Mandeville for even more delivery (tackling some of those high rise flats), then on to Greenford for some 'walking and talking' and lunch on the go. From there, we headed back to Perivale where we did over 1000 houses in and around the Empire horse shoe. After Perivale, I headed off to Greenford station for commuter 'meet and greet' and then finally went off to Cleveland ward for even MORE delivering and chatting to potential voters in and around Pitshanger lane... So, as you can imagine, I'm shattered! It's been a full on day and my shoes need resoling, but overall it's been a lot of fun.
Whilst chatting to people, one thing is clear... There are still a lot of undecided voters out there. A lot of people have and still are giving this election a lot careful consideration and this is not only good for democracy, it is good for the country as a whole. For the first time, people are not just going to vote along traditional lines. There is real desire for change in the air and for that reason, I hope there is a good turnout tomorrow.
As the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Ealing North, it is natural for me to want you to vote Lib Dem, but please, beyond that, I urge everyone who is reading this to at least VOTE! Once every 5 years you have the power to change the world. That little 'x' you put in a box can have a huge impact on the lives of millions of people. So please, don't waste your opportunity. You really can make a difference by voting for what you believe in.
See you on the other side!

Just tell any Conservative Supporters about Conservative Councillor Nigel Sumner and his Ealing in Bloom competition and how he always wins first prize in the allotment section, and then about how he gets away with breaking allotment bye-laws rather than setting a good example. That should make them think a little! I think Ealing Conservatives should be thinking about Cleaner Councillors, rather than Cleaner Streets.
