My priorities: UNDESIRED DEVELOPMENTS!

Gurcharan Singh Fighting and Stopping Undesirable and Antisocial Developments

I've been at the forefront of fighting the menace of undesirable developments such as proposals to develop a brown field site by Frendscastle at Hanwell and the gas works site at Southall. While the Frendscastle application was simply an over development, the gas board site submitted two applications (one for bio-fuel and the other to build 3,750 houses/flats) which were woefully short on detail in infrastructure and safety from contamination. I along with my colleagues and community groups lobbied Councillors and were successful in getting the applications declined. However, Mayor Johnson overturned the gasworks decision by "calling it in". Even so, the fight is far from over and regardless of my Party affiliation, the needs of Southall residents come first.

If elected, I will continue to work with the council to appeal the Mayor's decision.

And where exactly were you when Save Ealings Centre (SEC) was fighting both the Arcadia project and Dickens Yard. With the continuing developments still on-going in Dickens Yard how on earth can you say that you have/will fight undesirable develepments. Do you really think that we are that stupid that we have not noticed that the Tory-led Ealing council backed both Dickens Yard and Arcadia? Do you really think that the electorate are that stupid?

Arnold relax with you. You make your case very poorly!

I don't think GS thinks anyone is stupid. He's simply make a pledge to support the things we care about...

No he hasn't. He is part of Ealing's vested interests. He has supported Dickens Yard and Arcadia because the Planning Departmetns and system in Ealing supported it. The fatcs speak for themselves. For him to speak against unwanted development is pure propaganda he is lying. No need to calm down on my part. The facts speak for themselves.

Arnold... get on point will you! The "facts" you support are baseless not to mention irrelivant to this article...
