My priorities: HEALTH SERVICES!

Singh Fights to Save Ealing Hospital

Government and NHS forces are putting the future of our only local hospital at risk. If proposals are accepted the A&E department will close and Acute Services will surely follow. Even Maternity Services are at risk meaning mothers will have to travel outside the borough to give birth. To retain the Stroke Unit, I submitted a petition containing 1860 signatures. I am now fighting for all services at Ealing Hospital (click "Sign My Petition" in the right hand pane-->).

Our Labour MP has done nothing in the face of these threats. He has not forced the Labour Health Minister to reconsider proposals. He is happy to be pictured opening Health Centres yet when it comes to fighting for local NHS services he is nowhere to be seen.

My personal pledge to you is that if elected, I will immediately halt closure to services until a thorough review of the proposals are carried out. It is our hospital and we must work together to save it. Vote Conservatives and we will not only "Save Our Services" but improve them too.

Perhaps our Labour MP, as you describe im, has the sense to realise that many people would view the closure of Ealing Hospital as a good thing overall. I would prefer to be taken to Hammersmith or Charing Cross Hospital even if it took longer. I have not seen you doing anything to try and improve services at Ealing Hospital which as come bottom in national league tables. I think that you have latched on to this, Mr Singh, as an issue as a desperate man looking for issues to support that are local. I do not believe that you are an agent for change or anything like that. You will see anything to get elected.

Arnold, you're all over the place! So, you propose the destruction of Ealing Hospital?! Respond when you get back from whichever planet you're on!

Personally I think G Singh has done a great deal to raise awareness to the issues faced at Ealing Hospital and actually, I think he should "latch" on to it (as you put it). Isn't that what we want our politicians to do?

Of course he should latch onto our biggest concern in the area!

Also, I think there's a lot to be said these days for a politician to go on record and make pledges. It means we can hold them to account!

Hi Arnold, Lets get to the point Ealing Hospital is not going to be knocked down. A campaign to improve services cannot be classed as a worthless issue. Mr Singh has not only spoken about NHS. His policies have been outlined time after time on this site. I won't go over them again. I had a labour campaigner knock on my door and when asked about their policies the representative had nothing. I am not kidding. The Labour campaigners knock on your door to confirm you will "blindly" support them because your parents did!! At least we hear about what Mr Singh policies are. It disturbs me that our elected MP does not show us the respect by turning up or agreeing to debate with the other 2 candidates. It shows how little he thinks of "us".

Why won't Ealing Hospital get knocked down? It ought to. You forget that it is rated as one of the worst hospitals in the UK.What is more I have sen Mr Singh do nothing to work to get that sorted out before this election, only to save jobs for the girls/boys there. I wouldn't believe anything that he says.
Anyway, the hospital is not getting any better (from he people I know who use it) so it is just a matter of time before more bad statistics continue to emerge about it forcing change/closure.

What you say does a huge disservice to the Nurses, Doctors, frontline and support staff that work at Ealing Hospital. To be honest, your suggestion is so vile, it's unworthy of a response.
As for Mr Singh, I want him to campaign on this so I don't know what your problem is? Also, he has been campaigning for Ealing Hospital services since 2007! Look it up if you like...

Pardon me, Ealing Hospital is a death trap. A number of different surveys and statistics have shown that to be true. Read the numbers. The staff at Ealing Hospital are awful. Some of them cannot speak English, more of them cannot understand it properly. Patients are treated as an inconvenience to the staff. Would you go there to be treated out of choice? Singh CLEARLY SHOWS THAT HE HAS NOT GOT A CLUE and is clrealy not fit to rule or represent anything on the basis of his support for said Crimean Hospital.

Arnold, you're a buffoon! You're suggestions are completely off the mark but then again, now that the results are in, it doesn't matter.
